The answer is just as easy as the question.
Because it's who I am and what I'm meant to do; which isn't to say I couldn't or don't like to do other things, but this one thing drives me. And I'm not talking about punching keys—though that's very enjoyable, especially when you get a good rhythm going—or jotting down words on w/e bits of w/e happen to be close enough to grab.
I'm talking about storytelling.
I was damn lucky enough to find a publisher who didn’t think my story sucked. And for that, I need to thank Black Bed Sheets Books and Nick Grabowsky, the little horror publishing house that could and DID. But I’m not the only swarthy author on BBS who writes about monsters and freaky shit. There are, a plethora, yes I said it, a PLETHORA of authors who will quell your desire for things that bump uglies in the night. Let me introduce you to a few of them….
In the recent past I posted a blog about how I dislike sites such as Amazon and GoodReads or any site that encourages folks to "leave reviews." And I explained why, which I'll do once more for the sake of this blog entry. Because it's too easy for anyone to "get off" by bashing and or trashing. And sometimes it's actually the author that gets bashed or trashed.
