Jennifer and Alice and Spring-Heeled Jack

Postby JenCaress on Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:08 pm

Hi all :)

I'm Jennifer Caress and my newest novel, The Return of Spring-Heeled Jack, is set for release by BBS this Autumn. I'm thrilled and honored to be part of such a great group of people.

I generally write dark fantasy, horror, paranormal, WTF type of stuff and Spring-Heeled Jack is my fourth novel. It brings the 19th century British urban legend to the 21st century, still keeping him as ornery as ever, of course. I live in Colorado with my husband, three dogs, two cats, and one ferret. We like it here, but are stilling to feel an itch to move someplace else, which happens to us about every 5-7 years. I want us to move to Salt Lake City because of their film community, and I've work on films and interned for a production company hundreds of years ago, and I'd like to go back to that. I've crafted many book trailers for authors trying to scratch that film making itch but it just isn't enough ;)

Anyway, that is me in a general nutshell. I look forward to getting to know you all! :D

I was just in Salt Lake for the 2012 World Horror Con.
Beautiful city. Some very cool folks from the Salty Horror Film festival were there as well.

I used to live a few hours from Salt Lake. I'm glad to see they have been getting their movie industry some growth finally. Welcome.
